Introduction

“To Be Drawn“

First, I would like to say thank you to the Lord for birthing this blog through me and to you for visiting my blog and taking the time to read the posts!

I believe God has given all Born-Again Believers a unique identity in the Earth. Our identity is first in Him and can be expressed in many ways. We see this throughout the Scriptures with the prophets and other Biblical figures. Some were weeping and crying in the streets while others were having visions they could not wrap their heads around. Each person had their own unique design, stamped by the Lord to hear from Him and fulfill their calling and purpose. Over the years, I believe the Lord has refined the unique expressions He has given me, which is what I would like to elaborate on in this introduction and is hence, the reason for Heaven’s Agenda Blog!

Before anyone can fulfill their God ordained purpose, or express His will in the Earth, they must first be drawn. John 6:44 says “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.” What Jesus is saying here is that the Father chooses to draw a person to Himself as a faith response. I believe this is a bit of a mystery; however, I am extremely grateful that He chose to draw me to Jesus, even at an early age. It is a sobering thought that some are not chosen to be drawn and that I am not on that side of history.

Mark 3:13 says “And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.” In this passage, Jesus called several but then approved the twelve Apostles, but even before then, when He initially called them as Disciples, He would say things like, “Come, follow me.” He said the same to many others; however, the point is that He must initiate the invitation, and calling is always to Jesus first, before any title, function or role. The invite comes specifically from the Father. I am confident that when Jesus called the Disciples, it was the Father’s instruction because John 5:19 says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does: and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel., “ which brings us to the point of this blog, Sonship!!!

In the Lord’s drawing me to Himself and journeying with Him for many years, He has refined my ears and senses to hear, see, touch, taste and feel Him and His leading. Romans 8:14 says ” For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons (neutral term) of God.” This is EXACTLY what Jesus was doing; His Father’s will through operating in Sonship!!! This is what I feel that I and other Believers are called to do in the most authentic ways!! Living and walking in sonship takes much relational cultivation with Father, Son and Holy Spirt, and it is necessary and needed in the Earth, as Romans 8:19 says “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” Creation is actually waiting for this because when man fell, all of creation fell too. It is not a movement. It is transformed lives that look like Jesus and are free to follow Him as He leads; an Earth full of sons with Jesus being the first fruit!!
